- Quilts from strips are so much fun. Inspired by Bonnie Hunter's scrap quilt, Strip Twist! and the Cool Water quilt in Quilting Quickly Winter 2014, Kim Devine used 2½" wide strips cut from her scraps to make this great quilt. Tumbling Tumbleweeds is the perfect quilt for your next charity quilt or quilt retreat!

So good to see you. Thank you!
Wow, I don’t care if you smile or not, however you are I love your work. I was surfing the RUclips to find some ideas , for a new shirt , I want to do to myself using some fantastic fall plain colors from the Andevor fabric company. Well, when I saw your tutorial , I just loved the contrasts you put using light and darker colors. I know is not geometric, but I loved the unusual look , and the fact that is easy to cut and sew. So, tomorrow sep-17-2022 I will start my shirt using your idea. Thanks so much. I am a beginner ,and , yes I love geometric look, but most of the time is so hard to achieve a perfect alignment doing it; that is one of the reasons I loved your pattern. Again, I loved your tutorial, very professional. I subscribed to your Chanel . Thanks Beto
OMG! I soooo needed this! saw a picture of a quilt like this on Pinterest. Determined to make it, but wasn't sure exactly how (still a beginner). Already have my jelly roll. Now I know exactly how! Thank you so much!
Very useful and beautiful creation which can be prepared with scrappy pieces. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your tip for cutting first and then sewing, which results in more control over the Scrappy effect. 👍
thanks for watching - happy quilting!
Is the quilt behind you made with one jelly roll?? What's the finished size?
Cool. Thanks!
All of these tutorials are so good, the only thing I would like to see change is more smiling....she look like she's in pain and rarely smiles, but when she does it's so nice! SMILE!
K Schallert I agree, this is fun stuff
I rarely smile when I'm at work on a project, that I want to do a good job on.
This pattern looks the same as the pattern in cool water pattern by fons and porter just different colours how's that
It is the same pattern. I noticed that too as I am just now making the Cool Water Quilt. I looked around for more information and found this beautiful quilt and saw the pattern is the same. I have 180 strips all cut and separated into dark and light strips, 2.5 x 22, all from fat quarters. I'm trying to figure out how big my quilt will be, or how many squares I can make with all these strips. I'm a total beginner! Hoping to make at least a Full or Queen for my Granddaughter who is graduating high school in June. It will probably take me that long to make it!

Where is a pattern?
Why am I not seeing the whole tutorial. They start halfway thru. I pay for Utube.
Oooo. No. It does make your eyes go all googly. I like geometric designs done geometrically, you know? But very clever thinking that up.🙄

Watching this was worse than watching grass grow. 🤮
